Greetings, Mr. Puckett

I believe being a autodidact is a part of every healthy homosapiens autonomic makeup at birth. Newborns are easily teachable. Toddlers automatically exemplify trial and error learning techniques. Unfortunately early aged adults too often eat of the proverbial fruit of institutional education, believing that is the best way to obtain a professional vocation; Healthy humans should aspire to exercise autodidact qualities, if not, why do advanced music teachers instruct students to learn new material and only be evaluated on their technique in the following class?

Great points! Sometimes after eating that "proverbial fruit of education", we forget how to rediscover being an autodidact by teaching ourselves. I'm one of those people, who after prep school and going to two Ivy League schools, have perhaps been "brainwashed" into thinking I have to get that institutional education. But then I thought about the things that I have taught myself, and could perhaps go deeper with subjects if I learned about more systematic ways to do so. More about that soon. Thanks for commenting!

Perhaps becoming more of an autodidact. I love studying the word of God, but have been guilty of allowing other things to sometimes get away. Now I have more “quiet” time to spend in God’s word and in His presence. Thanks for sharing. Learned a few new words from you today! God bless.
